Stans Arch Mk4 29er XC/trail Boost width wheels latest Mk4 rims

  

Boost width version of the latest Mk4 Stans Arch - the legendary fast and tough mountain bike wheelset for XC, trail and recreational use. 29er size only at the moment. Rims are the brand new Mk 4 Stans Arch made from aluminium alloy. Wider and stronger and even slightly lighter than the Stans Arch Mk3 rim with a 28mm internal width.

The spoke drilling is offset by 2.5mm which improves wheel strength. Designed for tyre widths between 2.25" and 2.50". (for tyres between 2.35" and 2.6" also consider the slightly wider Stans Flow Mk4 rim - see our other listing).

These rims are designed to be used tubeless (with Stans sealant) but can also be use with Presta valve tubes. For more detail on the Mk4 rims see.

Hubs are lightweight but tough Novatec XD641SB-B/D902SB-B. Suitable for all cassettes with the right freehub fitted.

Choice of Shimano HG (8-11 speed MTB cassettes with a 11T small cog), Shimano 12 speed Microspline or SRAM XD Driver for SRAM/SunRace and other non-Shimano MTB cassettes with a 10T small cog. These hubs have high quality sealed bearings.

Disc brake attachment is by the international standard 6 bolt fixing. The hub widths are standard Boost 15mm x 110mm front and 12x148 rear. As standard, the 32 spokes per wheel are the high quality silver Sapim Race 2.0/1.8/2.0.

Made from 100% stainless steel and fastened with solid brass nipples. The wheels are built using a 3x (3 cross) pattern which is the best compromise between strength without excess weight. Total wheelset weight around 1875g. Any optional extras which will be invoiced separately. Please note: The version shown in the photos has the optional black Sapim Race spokes and black alloy nipples.

All our wheels are handbuilt to the same high standards. Rims are true to +or- 0.2mm and spokes uniformly tensioned to within 10%. Please look at the other wheelsets and products available in our shop.
