Compomotive 15x7 et29 3-piece alloys! Size = 15x7 Front and Rear. Light weight at 14 lbs.

This included a chemical dip to remove the paint from the barrel and center, followed verifying the wheels were true. The outer lips were mirror polished to a high luster shine, about as good as you will ever get out of these old aluminum surfaces. Note some residual pitting in some of areas on the lips. The entire wheel center (minus the mounting pad and mounting flange) and inner barrel were then powdercoated with a metallic silver resin that very closely matches vintage silver paints from the'70s and'80s, followed by a clear powdercoat to provide a very thick and glossy durable finish without an orangepeal surface texture.

The center, barrel, and outer polished lip were then cleaned and prepared for assembly using new assembly bolts that I sent out for zinc plating with a durable black zinc. The special tapered washers were cleaned and then painted with black gloss enamel paint. Original back side washers were retained and new locking nuts were installed. The sections were assembled using silicone sealant between the sections.

The nuts were torqued to 18 ft-lbs. A band of silicone sealant was then applied to the outer circumference of the wheel sections to provide an effective seal. I have spun each wheel on a balancer and verified that it is trued and straight.

I do not have original center hex caps. Note that a thin portion of metal between a lug nut area and the center cap is missing. New stainless steel valve stems are included. The mounting pads were sanded to be sure no residual powdercoat remains in place. T his set is probably are about as nice as you will ever see and the restoration was about as thorough and complete as it could have been.

There are no flaws to these wheels beyond what I have described. Please see all the photos so you can see the quality of the wheels and the restoration work. Supersize to see the details.
