1970-1977 Yamaha XS1 XS1B Front Wheel rim hub brake plate GOOD complete XS650

  

Good, used, complete, original, Yamaha 19 front wheel for 1970 XS1 and 1971 XS1B. R im is stamped Takasago 1.85B x 19.

Tested on a truing stand (see last picture). Wheel is very straight and very true with no dents, dings or flat spots. Wheel bearings and seals are good. Spokes are tight and straight and look good with just a little light corrosion.

Chrome on rim is very good and bright, with a little light sidewall scratching, and just a couple of tiny rust pin-points that are too small to show up in pictures. Rim edge has just a couple of small marks -- I have tried to show all of the worst marks in the rim detail pictures. The alloy hub and alloy brake plate still have much of the original factory clear coat. Hub looks very good with just a few small marks. The brake plate has light corrosion.

The chromed parts of the brake plate have a little light rust but look good. Speedometer drive actuator looks good.

The steel brake lining in the hub looks good. The brake shoes in the brake plate look good. There is a tiny area on the rim that looks like a crack but which is actually where the rim extrusion was welded together after it was formed into a hoop -- see second-to-last picture. This was there when the wheel left the factory.

Completely functional and ready to use as is. Brake arm works well, all threads are good, and bearings are good.
