1968 Gtx Charger Dart Cuda A / B-body Mopar Blk Steering Wheel W-trim No Cracks

  
Here for your consideration is this good condition original used complete black steering wheel assembly that was originally off a lower- mileage 1968 Road Runner (B-body). Same for 1968 Mopar A or B-body models, including Dart, Barracuda, Road Runner, Satellite, GTX, Coronet, Super Bee, and R/T.

I believe the steering wheel itself is applicable to 1967-69 A or B-body models, but horn ring and horn pad are different for each year (mine is 1968- only style). Wheel assembly includes the black wheel, horn switch, brushed style horn ring, and black padded horn pad. Featured black 1968 Mopar A or B-body steering wheel is a crack-free original wheel (a rarity on many of these).

Still has a nice shine and is not faded out like many of these get. There is some scratches on the top of wheel in a few areas (I think from when a previous owner stored / moved wheel attached to columns still upside down on a concrete floor). There are also a few scratches on the back side of one of the spokes. I think the ones on top of rim could be polished out some, or perhaps use some fine sandpaper to smooth and level them out , and then polish rim to smooth and make glossier. The horn switch is in good shape.

The brushed horn ring is not scratched, dented, or dinged. There is some pitting on the horn ring , but not real bad, and still looks pretty nice, with good sheen.

The padded horn pad is very nice shape, with no damage, fading, wear or alterations. The splines on bottom of wheel are nice, and will work well to attach it to column shaft. Overall a good original wheel, that is very decent as is for nice drivers or lower level restored cars, or with a little bit of polishing and smoothing out will turn out very good, and good enough for medium- level restored or original cars.

Helps that this one was originally out of a lower-mileage car originally and stored inside for many years, so much better dark black original color and not all faded out. Check out my other select 1963-74 Mopar A, B, C, and E-body parts.
