Good value 26 Mountain bike wheelset. Rims are the well established Ryde Zac 19 made from light 6063 aluminium alloy in black.

New simpler graphics for 2020. Suitable for MTB tyre sizes between 1.7" and 2,3" and road tyres from 32mm and wider. Presta valve tubes can be used or we can drill for Schrader valves (car type) at no extra cost. Tough rims aimed at recreational riding, commuting and undemanding MTB rides. Hubs are rim brake Novatec A521/F522. Strong steel axle hubs with user adjustable bearings.

MTB standard 100mm wide front hub and 135mm wide rear hub. Suitable for 8,9,10 and 11 speed MTB cassettes and road cassettes up to 10 speed. Can also be used with a 7 speed cassette with a additional spacer. A straightforward rugged hub which can be user serviced with simple tools. The wheels come with lightweight quick release (QR) fixings included.

The 32 spokes are high quality ACI Alpina, DT Swiss Competition or Sapim Race - all double butted types. Made from 100% stainless steel (never rust) and fastened with solid brass nipples. The wheels are built using a 3x (3 cross) pattern which is the best compromise between strength without excess weight.

Total wheelset weight around 2100g. All our wheels are handbuilt to the same high standards. Rims are true to +or- 0.2mm and spokes uniformly tensioned to within 10%. You will find cheaper 26 wheelsets available on the web but the low price is usually achieved by using inferior (and much cheaper) unbranded rims, hubs and spokes.

These wheels are also suitable for hybrid, commuting and trekking bikes which use 26 wheels. 26 Road tyres with sizes from 32-50mm wide will all fit. Please look at the other wheelsets and products available in our shop.
